Letter From The CEO -- Pre-Alpha is coming next week!
Long time no see, Zenitheans!
It's Andy and I'd love to walk you through some exciting developments in the world of Zenith.
Building a revolutionary game takes the best talent in the world and that's why I'm excited to announce that we've brought Dave Maldonado and Giancarlo Surla on to lead our Design and Art Direction. Dave was previously the Creative Director of New World and a Principal Game Designer at Blizzard working on World of Warcraft. Giancarlo started Paper Crane Games, a successful VR game studio for 8 years, and prior to that, was a Mission Art Director on the Call of Duty franchise.
We've also grown our team methodically to 25 of the best, and most talented people in the industry.
I am even more excited for 2023. Zenith is launching on PS VR2 on February 22nd -- with immersive features such as headset rumble, adaptive trigger, and advanced haptics -- it's a whole new experience. Plus, they can get a cute dingbo pet just for pre-ordering!
This is just the beginning though because 2023 will be the biggest year yet for Ramen VR.
Every day the team works on truly incredible content and I'm constantly amazed by the fantastic progress that's being made. However, every once in a while an update comes along that is special and has the potential to change Zenith forever.
The next major update is that kind of special update and we hope to prove it to you starting next week.
Today I'm excited to announce that Major Update 1.3 will be entering a limited Pre-Alpha test next week from Friday 2/10 - 2/13. We'll only be able to allow a few users initially as we prove out the technology. Keep an eye on our socials for chances to access.
In that build, you will of course get to play with announced features like Cyber Ninja and Player Housing -- but there will also be extremely exciting and completely unannounced features. As a reminder -- testers will not be able to share any information externally about the build -- but we do want to let as many people as we can into the test.
I want to personally thank every single person that has played and support Zenith in the past year. We're looking forward to your feedback on the pre-alpha.
- Andy
