Zenith Season 4: Golden Isles coming to PTR with community requests

PTR Release: August 9, 2024

Anyone who plays the Season 4 PTR for more than 2 hours will earn the character title "Aerial Ace". The character title will be distributed within a week of launch. We are also planning some fun and nostalgic community events. Stay tuned for community event announcements in Discord!

We’ve heard your wishlist requests, both in Discord and our community Feedbear, and now we’re looking back to you for testing and feedback. There are a number of popular community requests, bug fixes and quality of life improvements for The Last City and Infinite Realms in this PTR.

Preview of changelist for Season 4 PTR:

Nexus

  • Addition of two new inventory pages
  • IR purchased Cosmetics are now account bound and will populate in both IR and TLC
    • Upon purchasing Cosmetics in IR logout and then log back into IR. Once you have done this you can proceed to logout of IR and into TLC and the cosmetics will populate in the inventory for any character you select. 
  • Reduced loading screen wait time

Infinite Realms

  • New enemies and island layouts
  • When a player character reaches level 100, they may now accept a quest from Mika in the City to increase their Prestige rank and reset their levels and skill tree
  • Added a new error message to display when there are no IR shards to connect to
  • Using life modifiers on boss rush and dying no longer makes the city stop rendering
  • City waystone crystal is now climbable

The Last City

  • Return of original Fast Fly
  • Addition of basic item trading between players
  • Players can now reroll pet perks
  • Corrected scaling issue for BM Combo with Primal
  • Reduced the minimum player requirements from 4 players to 2 players for Defiled Gardens, Infernal Core and Pillar of the Architect
  • Reduced the minimum player requirements from 2 players to 1 player for Outlaw Grove
  • Players can now trade with Mika in Nexus City Essence of Arboruht to redeem the Baby Arby pet 
  • Doubled the limit for running daily raids
  • Doubled item limit caps on Mark of Twilight, Mark of Dread, Mark of Devotion, and Celestial Fragment

Note that players are not able to make in-app purchases while participating in the PTR. The cosmetics store in Infinite Realms will be intentionally disabled to prevent purchases.

Please be aware Season 4 work is still in progress. We want to get these changes out as early as possible to help surface issues, but these features and fixes are still subject to change.
