Unveiling Zenith's Skill Tree Revamp

Hello Agents,

Today, we are thrilled to present you with an exclusive early preview of the upcoming Skill Tree update. We've been working diligently on the revamp and addressing godstone issues, and are eager to share our new approach with you. However, please note this is still a work in progress, and nothing presented here should be considered final.

As we've previously mentioned, our aim with this update is to ensure your progression journey is clear, immersive, and most importantly, tailored to your choices.

Instead of just passively unlocking abilities in a list, you'll now encounter a branching skill tree that vividly illustrates your progress. As you advance through the game earning XP and leveling up, the connections between each godstone slot will gradually fill, providing a tangible representation of your accomplishments.

Once you reach the necessary thresholds, you'll be prompted to manually choose your godstones, and can freely explore their node abilities (with helpful tooltips) before making your choice. Additionally, when two godstones compete for one slot, you have the power to decide which path to pursue!

Each ability has its own set of branches and nodes. Begin with the basic godstone, and as you gain XP, witness it blossom into a multitude of nodes for you to unlock. Customize your character according to your playstyle by selecting which nodes to invest in, and don't worry, if you later change your mind there will also be options to allow you to respec.

Beyond each godstones node graphs, we're also introducing three special Augment slots for each ability. These correlate to Uncommon, Rare, and Epic rarities, offering you even more customization options. So instead of chasing godstone drops, you'll be on the lookout for these potent nodes to slot in.

We understand change can be daunting and updating such an integral system is a big undertaking that we're expecting to require a lot of iteration, so during this revamp, we are committed to collaborating closely with you, our community, by conducting closed testing and gathering your valuable feedback during our usual Alpha and Beta releases. After all, this is your journey, and we want to make it as epic as possible.
