Zenith Servers Closing December 18, 2026

In July 2024, we announced ending new content development for Zenith while keeping the servers online until further notice. Today we’re sharing an update on how long the servers will remain online.

Zenith servers will remain online until 10:00 AM PST Friday, December 18, 2026. At that time, the servers will permanently go offline and the live service game will not be accessible.

New sales of Zenith: The Last City (paid DLC) and Zennies (premium currency) will end starting Wednesday, October 21. New users can get the free version of Zenith through Wednesday, November 18, 2026. After that, new users will not be able to download Zenith. Existing players will keep access and can continue playing Zenith until the servers close.

Thank you to everyone who explored this world and supported the game. You gave Zenith its community, and we’re grateful we had the chance to share this world with you.

Why are the servers closing?

In July 2024, we shared the challenges that led us to end new content development, including player retention and the cost of sustaining Zenith. We have kept the servers online since that decision over two years ago. It isn’t feasible for us to continue running the servers at a loss.

When will sales end?

New sales of Zenith: The Last City (DLC) and Zennies packages (in-game currency) will end starting Wednesday, October 21, 2026 across all platforms.

New users can get the free version of Zenith through Wednesday, November 18, 2026. After that, new users will not be able to download Zenith.

Existing players will keep access and can continue playing Zenith until the servers close.

How long can I keep playing?

You can continue playing Zenith until the servers close at 10:00 AM PST on Friday, December 18. At that time, the servers will go offline and the live service will no longer be accessible.

Can I still download the free version of Zenith?

Yes, new players can get the free version, Zenith: Nexus, through Wednesday, November 18, 2026. After that, downloads will not be available for new players. Existing players will retain access until the servers close on Friday, December 18.

What happens to my Zennies (in-game premium currency)?

You can continue using Zennies in-game until the servers close.

Will there be updates or support before the servers close?

New content development ended in August 2024. Active player support ended in September 2024, but we will continue to provide support when we can until the servers close.

Will there be an offline version or community-hosted servers?

No, not at this time.
